We finish today for the half term break and will see pupils back in school on Monday 24th February. We all hope you enjoy your week!
Venus Class have enjoyed taking part in educational visits this term. They went shopping and explored new places, such as Tudor Grange, where they participated in a cycling workshop. They also visited a farm, went shopping, and watched a performance by the CBSO.
Comets Class have been exploring materials in Science this term, focusing on hard and soft materials and what they are used for. They have learnt that soft materials such as fabric can be used to make clothes and designed their own t-shirts. They also used water to see if materials are waterproof or absorbent.
Lower School pupils have been having a fantastic time in their Forest School sessions. They have been enjoying spending time outdoors, exploring nature, and taking part in a range of fun and engaging activities. These sessions offer a great opportunity for them to enjoy the natural world around them.
This term, Mercury Class is learning about animals. Pupils have been exploring different animals and their habitats. They have set up a farm in the playground and explored the undersea world in the school's immersive classroom. They are also reading stories about animals and listening to animal songs!
