Band B - £22,737 to £23,500 FTE* - pro-rata - £13.50 - £13.94 per hour

*Pay Award Pending. Incremental progression is subject to performance.

Part-Time Minibus Driver Vacancy – as and when required (term time)

Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed minibus driver to join our dedicated team to support our staff and pupils by providing a safe and efficient minibus service to enable pupils to access the facilities at both of our sites which are 3 miles apart.

Reynalds Cross is a Special School in Solihull for pupils aged 3 – 19 with severe learning difficulties. The Role

To support the school by driving our minibus on various student transport-related activities, including:

• transporting small groups of pupils and staff between the school sites (Olton & Shirley)

• transporting pupils and staff to college visits and educational trips

• carrying out vehicle safety checks, cleaning and general maintenance of the school minibus

Requirements for the post

• to complete a D1 Driving Assessment and MIDAS minibus training qualification if not currently held

• a clean, full UK driving licence

• First Aid and/or Health and Safety qualification would be desirable

• experience of basic vehicle maintenance

• experience of motorway driving

• reasonable availability during the working week
